Who this notice covers
The National Drivers & Owner Drivers Association (NDODA) processes information submitted through its membership and enquiry services. Contact info@ndoda.org for privacy enquiries.
Information and purposes
We collect the contact, identity, driving, business, vehicle and supporting-document information you submit to assess and administer membership, verify records, communicate with you, manage payments and respond to requests. Do not submit another person’s information without appropriate authority.
Access and sharing
Authorised staff access information according to their role. Payment details required for checkout are sent to Payfast when you elect to pay. Hosting and email providers support the service. This site does not publish member identity documents or make membership profiles available to Industry Partners. Industry Partner applications are processed separately for company due diligence, public-brand approval and partnership administration.
Retention and safeguards
Records are kept only for the membership, transaction, legal or dispute purposes for which they are needed. Access controls, protected downloads and backups support security. NDODA handles retention reviews and access or correction requests through its privacy contact; there is no claim that every record is automatically deleted after a fixed period.
Your requests
You may request access, correction or deletion, raise a privacy concern, or withdraw optional consent, subject to lawful retention obligations. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may also approach South Africa’s Information Regulator.
Chat
The default help assistant provides general answers. Do not enter ID numbers, documents, banking details or passwords. It cannot approve applications, view your records or confirm a payment.
